Super-Hero Stamina!

Hey friends!

Stopping in real quick for a post about an awesome find from Target's Dollar Bin. That place is where it is at y'all!!

I found these sweet little capes in the dollar bin at Target. So I decided to stop picking a stamina queen and king for Daily 5 and choose two Stamina Super-Heros!

Each day I pick two kids that had awesome stamina and they get to wear the capes in the morning until lunch. It has been a hit!!

Check out these two cuties rocking the capes. Love this picture because it definitely captures their personalities!

One Dollar. One Dollar! Get 'em while they are hot! There are some other really cool items in there as well such as masks and even some police badges, which I snatched up as well.

Hope to pop by this weekend to link up for the Five for Friday link up!

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Monday (ummm make that Sunday) Made it!

Hello friends!

Happy Sunday!

I am linking up a wee bit late to 4th Grade Frolics' Monday Made it linky! I don't have too much to add because I have been busy and have caught my first cold (went to the doctor and found out it is a sinus infection after I started this post!) of the year (YUCK). Oh and did I mention it's only the first full week of the year for the kids?

I mentioned in my last post that I made an anniversary gift for my boyfriend that was kind of teacherific! So that is what I am sharing today!

For my boyfriend and I's two year anniversary, I made him a book called "The abcs of our love" using PicMonkey! It was a lot of fun to make and PicMonkey is one of my most favorite places on the web! I love how it turned out and I think he did too :)

I gave my boyfriend a loot crate full of Game of Throne goodies and nicknamed it Sarah's loot crate the love edition. I had so much fun wrapping it. I used Washi Tape of course!!!

Have a super week!!!

Five for Fraturday!

Happy weekend, y'all!

I hope your week was fantastic! This week was my first week back in the classroom with the kiddos...I finally had a full class yesterday! After practicing routines for four days straight I am ready to get my year started! And yes, I know, I will have to keep practicing routines too but I just can't wait to get to the good stuff! :)

I am linking up today with Doodle Bugs for her Five for Friday link up, and because I am a day late today is officially Fraturday!

I went to a local festival last Sunday and I found these gems for 1$ each. I am in love! Not only did I help a local business, but the kids already love them. I put them in my block center. I think they will be much, much sturdier than the plastic dollar store cars I had last year. Not to mention they are one of a kind and super cute! :)

One of my favorite things we did this week was practice our gluing! Dot, dot, not a lot! I found this cute little freebie here on TpT. After we practiced, we put sprinkles on top! This little cutie did a fantastic job with her gluing and her apple turned out great!

I have blogged before about the awesome lockers my dad made for me, but I wanted to share a picture of them all filled with the kiddos' stuff! Ignore all the bins... I was sorting the supplies into bins until we need them! I am finally done!
But seriously, how awesome are these???

Last night (the reason I didn't get my blog post up yesterday!), I had my second book club meeting! It was so fun and my friend did a seriously awesome job planning it. Here is a picture of our next book and the cute little favors my friend made. If you would like to see more pictures ( and the book club set up looked like it was taken out of a magazine)  check out my Instagram: Miss Sarahsoda!

Today I leave you with two cute little quotes from two of my kids.  These moments are great reminders of why I have the best job ever!

Quote #1: After reading Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen (Howard is a bunny in case you didn't know):

One of my little friends raised their hand and said "you know, Howard kind of looks like my grandma!"

I was just happy he remembered to raise his hand! But, it sure did tickle my funny bone too!

Quote #2: "Did you know that my sister is as beautiful as a princess, but she eats like a pig? I mean she is as beautiful as a princess but she just eats like a pig!!"

How cute?!  He obviously loves his sister!

Well, I am off to spend the weekend with my guy. It is our two year anniversary and we are headed to the OSU game today and celebrating with dinner tomorrow! I can't wait to blog about one of the gifts I made him next week!

Don't forget to stop by Doodle Bugs and check out some other great blogs!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Sarah :)

September Currently

It's September 1st! Wait...What? Was anyone else so not prepared for this?
Where did summer go?

But either way, I am excited to link up with Farley and share my september currently!

Listening: Ok, so let me explain myself! I am not a huge Walton's fan, but the Golden Girls ended
(seriously, the best show of all time...I watch it daily!) and I never changed the channel!

Loving: I found the cutest tervis cup at the Hallmark Store over the weekend and my dear sweet boyfriend bought it for me! I can't wait to take coffee with me tomorrow morning!! :) If you want to see a picture of this cute little cup with Anna and Elsa on it, check it out here.

Thinking: Tomorrow is the first day with the kiddos!! YAY!!!

Wanting: A glass of coke... my favorite caffeine kick. All the cans in the world should say "Share a Coke with Sarah" because I would love you for it!

Needing: I can't think of a single thing I need right now.  Feeling pretty blessed with what I have got!

Trips: My main traveling goal is to get to all 50 states, so far I have hit 25!! After I finish that (or before, I'm not picky!) I would also love to get over to Italy ( and stuff myself full of pasta!!!) and also England (221b Baker St., here I come!)

Be sure to check out all the other bloggers in the link up!

Have a super day!

Sarah :)
